While thinner strings usually provide more bounce, there is always the problem of short duration. FORGED FIBER was developed precisely to solve this problem. Conventional nylon had a limitation in the strength of its fibers, so Yonex reengineered the fibers at the molecular level to create stronger bonds for durability. This FORGED FIBER allowed Yonex more freedom to make thinner strings without compromising durability.
