The Yonex ASTROX 77 badminton racket is a slightly heavier racket with a larger head. Astrox racquets are attack-oriented models that can take the lead in fast-paced play with a design that allows for powerful and sharp shots to dominate the court. The new ASTROX 77 racket is equipped with a rotary generator system. The counter-balanced head adapts to every shot and helps you control the game and attack your opponent with increased acceleration, steeper angle and power on impact.

ASTROX 77 uses the world's first graphite material of a new dimension, Namd, which can improve the adhesion of graphite fibers and resin by attaching the nanomaterial directly to the graphite fibers.

In high-performance racquets, nanomaterials are usually combined with a resin that binds the graphite fibers, but in Namd, the nanomaterials are directly glued to the graphite fibers, so the degree of adhesion between the graphite fibers and the resin can be increased. This significant improvement allows the shaft to flex and store energy and deliver explosive force when struck with the racket.

From the initial movement of the player to impact, the graphite of the new dimension is hard to solidify, and the shaft stretches and accumulates energy due to the speed of the fast swing. Because there is less follow through from a direct hit with the racket, swing speed is reduced and the new dimension graphite regains its hardness and strengthens the resistance of the shaft, allowing energy to explode quickly before returning to its original state.

Using counterweight theory, weight is distributed across the end of the arm, top of the frame and joint for maximum control. The transition to the next stroke can be done smoothly in quick succession.
