The Yonex Duora 99 badminton racket is something new and unusual on the badminton market. The Duora uses two frame profiles to achieve control and speed advantages depending on which side of the racquet is used. The light color serves as a guide in your peripheral vision to show you which side you are using.

Features:

Dual Optimum System - frame profiles are typically designed around stability, aerodynamics or a balance of both. The Dual Optimum System is half stable and half aerodynamic. Both sides of the frame use different profiles instead of one profile doing both jobs.

Stability - Box-shaped frame that resists torsion and twist for better power transfer and accuracy.

Aerodynamic profile with nickel-nitani fibers running around the crest for increased strength and durability.

Nanometer DR improves the bond strength between carbon fibers so that thinner carbon structures have the same strength as thicker ones that do not use nanometer fibers. Nanometric DR is used on the racket head in the box section to provide strength and stability around the head.

Solid Feel core - a vibration reduction system through the racket that provides comfort as well as a more robust racket feel.

The Control Support Cap is a wider top cap that allows for more control at the very top of the handle.

Super Slim Long Shaft - thinner shaft for better aerodynamics, which enables a faster swing.

The T-joint has been improved, adding T-Anchor, a new composite to reduce racket torque on off-center hits. A foaming agent is added around the T-joint to create a tighter fit between the frame and the T-piece. This improves string response to the main string by reducing movement at the center frets.
