The Yonex ASTROX 22 badminton racket is a lightweight (~68 grams / 2F) badminton racket with a heavy balanced head and stiff shaft for precise control. Although the racket is light, when using the appropriate string, e.g. BG-80 Power or BG-66 Ultimax, generates enough impact to give the racket explosive speed. Like all standard Astrox rackets, the ASTROX 22 racket is equipped with a rotary generator system. The counter-balanced head adapts to every shot, helping you control your game and attack your opponent with increased acceleration, steeper angle and power on impact. Astrox racquets are an attack-oriented model that can take the lead in fast-paced play with a design that can deliver powerful and sharp shots, allowing you to dominate the court. Using counterweight theory, weight is distributed throughout the handle end, top of the frame and joint for maximum control. The transition to the next stroke can be done smoothly and in quick succession.
